Growing up in a blue collar family in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Joe Biden learned that when you make a promise you keep it, and when you take on a debt you pay it. It is quite common for major political campaigns to take on some debt as they lay it all on the line to win, and Joe paid off his campaign debt months ago.
There’s an angry email from a former campaign vendor going around right now claiming that Joe Biden owes thousands of dollars, but the vendor retracted his email in messages to the debunking website Snopes.com:
“This [message] was sent to six family members as a private email. Please do not forward. He has since paid in full.”
And
“Since this email has been sent out the bill has been paid in full. This matter is closed. I would appreciate you helping me share this with the world so it will die a natural death.”
